To all my coaching friends, start planning to be out of your facilities for weeks, potentially months, while this pandemic spreads. Start thinking about remote training and your financial bottom line and how you can make it work without daily access to your athletes. Your community already has COVID-19, it just hasn’t been detected yet. There are no “safe” places in North America to host competitions or training. I’m obviously not a doctor, but I studied governmental response to epidemics and pandemics in undergrad. We’re at the very tip of the spear, not the shaft.
